When your track target starts to move - our proprietary seismic detection circuit senses this and we turn the tracking device on.  As the tracker keeps driving around we keep sending you current day.  Once they stop moving - we will then wait a short bit, and place the tracker into a deep sleep state.  We know that if the unit never physically moves - then its still in the same place - no need to waste battery life if it has not moved.  Once the unit starts to physically move the process starts over again.
